After the extreme success of their first edition  The Black Power Awards is back in 2017 to celebrate black excellence in it’s entirety. This year edition will include many highlights such as the celebration of monumental honorees like : Dr. Rita Marley,  Rakim Allah and Dr. Mutulu Shakur. It’s an event that you shouldn’t miss. Specifically, The Black Power Awards was created in 2016  to collectively acknowledge those among the black communities  who quietly make the daily sacrifices to better the lives of their people and to consolidate relationships based on principle unity that allow  to build institutions of dual and contending power despite  socio-political, philosophical  and religious differences. This year edition will be held from November 17 2017 to November 19 2017 .
